Match
Report:
Continuing our a great start to the new
season with a couple of hard fought draws.
Unfortunately due to the
other teams insistence we were forced to play one fully experienced team and one
relatively inexperienced team.
These two matches were very
close with end to end tackling and rucking. Daventry were very unlucky against
Banbury not to just pip them, but we got over to score a try, but the ball was
dropped as opposed to put down.
Some fantastic tackling,
support play, running and presenting of the ball was displayed and this meant
that again we had two candidates for player of the day: Charlie and Toby.
Charlie -
Performed some of the best tackles and was able to rip the ball out of the
opponents hands on a couple of occasions. So he got player of
the day.
Well done boys.
Great contributions by the
others and a special mention must go to the more experienced players, Ryan S, Jamie,
Jonathan and Jack,
who played for the inexperienced team.
Keep it up lads great work.
