Membership of the Club

Children can join at any time during the season, but we prefer children to join their team on the registration date so that they all begin together and ‘bond’ as a team.

Registration for the Season 2010-2011 will begin on the 4th September 2010 for registering your children. It costs £50.00 for the whole season including match fees, Christmas party, end of season dinner and trophies.

Registration provides insurance cover, if you feel additional cover is needed we recommend you take out additional cover. There are no other hidden charges, match fees etc.

Additional child membership is £35.00.

We recommend that if your child has not played rugby before you submit your paperwork and then wait a couple of weeks before paying to ensure they enjoy the game.

Until your child's subscription is paid they will not be allowed to play in any matches or tournaments. If you have any questions contact registration@drfc-juniors.co.uk

You will be asked to complete our Registration Form which includes 1.             Parents contact details 2.             Medical Consent Form 3.             Image Consent Form You will also need two passport size photographs if your child has not been registered with the RFU previously.

Children are registered by age and play in the teams for which they are under the set age on midnight 31st August/1st of September of that year i.e. 8 in May 2010 the child will play in the under 9’s.

The Club is run by volunteers and we are always looking for parents to help with training the teams or running the club. If you would like to help please contact a club official.

We are looking for Welfare Coordinators for each team and Coaching Assistants who would like to go on to train to become Coaches by under taking the RFU Mini & Midi training course. If you are under 18 we can help you become a Community Leader and undertake the RFU course.
